The challenge

Inefficient Angular state management was triggering redundant data fetching and unnecessary backend calls. Other platform work addressed legacy integrations and cache-burst issues.

My contribution

Integrated TV2 Play DK and TV4/MTV with Hansen ICX, moved CSR data integrations to GraphQL, implemented Caffeine caching, and migrated search workloads to OpenSearch.

The result

Optimizing Angular state logic and eliminating redundant fetching reduced unnecessary API calls from approximately 250,000 to 4,000 daily. Other work supported Allente collective orders and Samsung hospitality-device login.

Product scope

Footwear customization, an enquiry journey and administration tools for managing the site.

Deployment work

Migrated the application to a Node.js/MySQL setup on Hostinger while preserving uploaded media and maintaining a rollback copy of the original site.

I’m a software engineer based in Islamabad. I enjoy the work behind a smooth experience: connecting services, investigating production problems, and making complex systems easier to maintain.

My work includes Java 17 and Angular 17 modernization. Alongside backend engineering, I build full-stack products and explore how AI can improve the development lifecycle — from reusable project knowledge to automated validation.

I hold a Bachelor of Information Technology from Quaid-i-Azam University. My final-year project was a decentralized voting application built with Ethereum smart contracts and React.
